With precision, the new X-10 Vacuum Excavator unit uses state-of-the-art water and vacuum technology to excavate soil and rock, carefully locating and exposing underground utility systems.Unlike traditional machinery, the operator-friendly machine easily tackles the toughest excavating jobs safely, limiting the risk of operator injury caused by underground utility strikes.The X-10 increases productivity, eliminates the high cost of utility repairs and causes less damage to the surrounding site reducing restoration costs. The slurry tank includes a manifold system that may receive air or other fluid to agitate the slurry or spoils to facilitate the release of solids from the tank. An exit port is provided in the tank to allow controlled release of the slurry. A valve means is utilized to allow for the use of a pump or air moving system wherein flow may be directed alternatively between the vacuum function to draw a slurry stream into the tank and a pressurizing function wherein air or other fluid is forced into the tank through the manifold system.
