This 55g saltwater reef tank was active from October 2002 to December 2005. (In the fall of 2005 I upgraded to a much larger 250g tank.) The photo above is from July 23, 2003. References for Further Reading. the display tank is an AGA 180 gallon tank with an AGA cabinet and canopy. I modified the canopy to accommodate the Metal Halide lighting to get it further away from the tank and also give room to access the tank for feeding / cleaning without having to remove the canopy.
