The fans speed is controlled, electronically, on such way that only the required speed is used to maintain excavator optimal power. This on demand cooling system is more noiseless, consume less fuel and provide a greater efficiency.On the John Deere 240D LC and 350D LC Excavators, one can obtain the reverse motion fan feature for self-cleaning. The fuel cooling system and the air conditioning capacitor are mounted on hinges letting side gap to facilitate system cleaning.
